We are delighted to offer a unique opportunity for a Full Stack Developer to join our team.

The project is to develop brand new software to manage our critical business processes and to have a seamless interaction between people, processes, hardware and data. This would replace our current bespoke ASP.NET application, written in C# with Azure infrastructure and database server which no longer supports our business strategy.

This development also provides an ideal opportunity to redevelop the functionality of the other legacy systems in the company, which were written in Access 2000 and Microsoft Sql Server 2005.

Skills Required

We are looking for a MEAN stack developer with the following skills and experience:

  • HTML5 and CSS3;
  • Strong Javascript (ES6+) skills for both client and server programming;
  • Node.js and Express;
  • Front End Framework experience - ideally Angular but VUE.JS or REACT would be acceptable - training opportunities as required;
  • Mongoose / Mongodb database experience ideally but not essential – training opportunities as required;
  • Experience of REST APIs and GIT;
  • Agile methodology using Scrum.

Who We Want

They need to be innovative and forward thinking. They need to be used to engaging with people at all levels of business, helping to create buy-in and facilitate a smooth approach to the project including final delivery to the Company.

As this is a Fixed Term Contract, they will need to pick things up quickly upon joining, as they will go through a sharp learning curve of our industry (free range eggs) and how the business currently operates.

Contract Length: +12 month Fixed Term Contract, dependent on experience
